Even though this little prologue does have tutorial elements built into it, it doesn't really play as the actual tutorial. After watching the prologue you are then taken to the tutorial area in which you learn to use your actual player and not Iris. The tutorial players much like the "Maple Story" tutorial in which you see icons representing the buttons and you are expected to press them to carry on. The pretty nifty thing about the attack system in this game is the introduction of a "Quick Attack" and a "Hard Attack" not seen in other 2D MMOs which is a great little new feature to really vary attacks.

Well for now I am going to end my little Diary here and continue playing the game, but I will leave you with a short little sum-up of the game. So far the game is great. The graphics are tremendous for a 2D game. The player equipment is so well designed. I am impressed with the looks of the level 11 clothing. You truly do look cool at every level. The gameplay so far hasn't yet had the chance to shine because of my extremely low level (Level 6), but hopefully I will be introduced to new things as I progress. Well I must continue my adverture. I shall update this later.

Big Disappointment

The game for me was a big disappointment. The grind is relentless. Even at level 1 it can take a good 10+ monsters to level up and that's even with the extra 50% experience points. The items start to become very expensive. The second sword I had to purchase was about 13,000 By (In-Game Currency) and this was at level 13. To me that is far to expensive for your first few weapons consider the first weapon I bought was 100 By. The combat for me is far too slow. I would prefer play a game like "Ghost Online" where the comat seems to flow instead of stop and wait. This game to me is just eye candy, nothing more nothing less. I wouldn't consider playing this game in Open Beta let alone Closed.
