Intro
This is my first guide ever so please don't hate me if it sucks I'll also probably miss/forget about some things so please post them if you can add anything that might be helpful. Also, for some wierd reason I can't seem to make the pictures smaller, so if anybody can help me with that then that would be great.
So why dungeon?
The dungeons of LaTale serve many purposes, from letting you complete quests to giving you a challenge in which you and your teammates may try and overcome. But the main reason of beating a dungeon would be this... THE LOOT!!! Everybody wants to become more powerful, and the dungeon is just one of many ways to get great gears and getting loads of cash from the high Latale Ely dropping dungeon monsters. Some dungeons also have some normal monsters, such as Mouth Peaches and White Tigers in Shangri-La, and when people are hogging the spawns in the channels you can party with somebody and kill them in the dungeon in solitude.
What you may expect from a dungeon
You may expect many things from a dungeon, but the most noticable thing that should be brought to attention is the toughness of the monsters. Like in most games, the enemies defending the main bosses are tougher than most of the normal "junk" that you find out in the wilderness, and they could potentially kill you very quickly if you are caught unprepared for them.
What to bring
A party... which should be dead obvious the moment you start fighting the dungeon monsters (this doesn't include the monsters that you can find outside). An ideal party would consist of a healer, a tank (preferably a knight), and two damage dealers. It is also a wise thing to stock up on potions, as you'll find fighting several dungeon monsters Latale Ely at once taxing to your HP and SP, so it is HIGHLY recommended that you bring 99 potions minimum, just in case.
What this guide will help you with
This guide is meant to teach you the ways of TEH MEAT NINJA!!! But really, it's supposed to help you do the instance more easily.
What do the monsters drop???? TELL ME!!!
Normal loot... or at least the normal monsters such as the Mouth Peaches in Shangri-La do. However, the real dungeon monsters and the bosses will drop the boss set armor pieces, which are non tradable but can be banked. The ONLY thing that drops boss weapons are the bosses themselves, with exceptions such as Invoke where Invoke numero uno drops the Invoke card for the quest, and Invoke II is the one who actually drops their particular boss items.
Cookie cutter strategies
-Have your tank make the monster face the opposite direction of your party.
-Have your tank always be as close to the monster as possible without making it turn around and attack the party, also have the party be as far away from the monster as possible while still performing their duties.
-Bring LOTS of pots!!!
-Save boss etc. drops because most of them can sell in FM well or they are a quest item.
